Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Srinagar
You will arrive in Srinagar in the early afternoon. Upon your arrival, you will be met by representative who will escort you to the beautiful city and transfer you to your houseboat. In the late afternoon enjoy a day long tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the famous Mughal Gardens-Chashmashahi, Nishat, Shalimar & evening enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on the lake - to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. Its one of the most soothing & relaxing aspects of a holiday in Kashmir. Late evening return back to hotel overnight stay
Day 2: Excursion to Sonmarg
After Breakfast enjoy a day long tour of a beautiful secluded mountain resort 87 km north of the valley. Driving through stony river beds and mud villages with a mesmerizing backdrop of the Himalayan range, the route takes us to the green valley of Sonmarg literally known as the golden meadow. We will arrive in the afternoon and after lunch go horse riding to the only famous glacier found here. The valley has a beautiful contrast of naked mountains, green fields and snow white glacier with water trickling beneath it. Evening return back to Srinagar for overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 3: Excursion to Gulmarg
After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view en route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. Enjoy full day leisure at gulmarg One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Chair Lifts (called Gandola) for mountain ride are also available & Evening return back to Srinagar for overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 4: Excursion to Pahalgam
Early morning After Breakfast, we will drive to the scenic mountain resort of Pahalgam Full day at leisure to explore the natural beauty of Pahalgam visit Aru Valley/Betaab Valley by hiring Pony/Local Cab or one can also have a short trek upto there also later enjoy & refresh yourself by River rafting in the famous Lidder River. Late Evening we will return back to Srinagar for overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Depart from Srinagar
After breakfast, board the car that will transfer you to the airport for your flight to any onward destination.
